Huskie, born Dustin Jenkins, is a bass music artist from Columbia, SC. Huskie discovered his passion for music when, at four years old, his mother started taking him to shows such as Ozzy Osborne, Stone Temple Pilots, Shine Down, and Cage the Elephant. These concerts built the foundation for Huskie’s deep connection with music. 

Excited about creating his own music, Huskie began guitar lessons at age five, but it wasn’t until high school that he would find his true passion. A friend introduced him to the world of DJing and EDM and, learning quickly, he developed a unique style, drawing inspiration from Griz, Subtronics, LSDream, and Ravenscoon. This eclectic blend of influences would evolve into Huskie’s sound: a fusion of dubstep, funk, and free form bass. In every set he plays, Huskie strives to push the boundaries of bass music and bring something new and interesting to the stage.

In 2023, Huskie released his debut single, “Fresh Outta Patience,” on SoundCloud and YouTube. This project showcases his evolution as an artist and explores themes of growth and self-reflection within production. Other notable achievements in Huskie’s career so far include playing B2B sets with Player1, DJing the silent disco at Imagine Music Festival 2023, and playing sets at Animazement and Colossalcon Anime Conventions in 2024.
