To support increased demand during Colossalcon Prime, the Sandusky Transit System will expand bus services along State Route 250 between Kalahari and the Sandusky Mall.
This year, they've upgraded vehicles with a capacity of up to 28 passengers. These new vehicles will be in service, which nearly doubles the seating available. These improvements are designed to reduce wait times and provide a more comfortable experience for riders.
During peak hours, an additional shuttle bus will operate along the same route to accommodate higher ridership. The route runs continuously between Kalahari and Sandusky Mall. The fare is $2.00 per ride, and transfer tickets are available at the Sandusky Mall for connections to other routes.
Riders are encouraged to use the Transit app for real-time bus tracking, schedule updates, and convenient mobile fare payment, which can be used directly on the onboard electronic fare systems.
