The Federation ≋ Colossalcon Prime

The International Federation of Trekkers, also known as The Federation, is a global nonprofit Star Trek fan organization dedicated to promoting the positive values, inclusive philosophy, and hopeful vision of the Star Trek universe through real-world action, fellowship, and community service.

Founded in 1984 by Russ Haslage with the direct participation and blessing of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, The Federation encourages fans to embody the spirit of unity, exploration, diversity, and humanitarian service portrayed throughout the franchise, all while celebrating Trekker fun.

The Federation is proud to represent Star Trek fandom at Colossalcon Prime for the tenth year, continuing a decade-long partnership built on friendship, fandom, and service. Over the years, Federation members have supported a wide range of charitable causes, including the American Red Cross, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Mercury One, local food banks, disaster relief efforts, environmental cleanup projects, and many community-based organizations.

At Colossalcon, members of The Federation welcome fans of all ages to stop by, talk Trek, learn about local chapters and international membership, and discover how Star Trek fandom can become a force for good in the real world.
